Note that this is a 3D conversion, not a native 3D film, That is, it was not shot in 3D but converted to 3D after the fact. For some of us (me included), converted 3D films just plain look strange. The 3D effect is there in that some objects seem closer to you and some seem further away, but the objects themselves seem flat rather than naturally 3D.
I also note that in the 2D screen in Sumter where I saw this, the rear channel speakers don't seem to be actually turned on. This is especially noticeable during the short video they show before the film that talks about the sound being "All around you". It ends up coming out like "All you" as the "around" part that's supposed to come out the back speakers isn't doing so. I heard this (or didn't hear it) in that same theatre for both
Wonder Woman and
Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Maybe there's just an issue with the sound system in that one theatre.
