Wrong! That has nothing to do with SS. And you pay for Medicare A all your life so that you don't pay a dime for it when you retire. You are speaking of supplements such as Medicare B, C, D. which are ALL optional.

Your turn to weep and all you didn't even have to read and misinterpret.

SS is paid, based on how much you contributed. You do not get paid less for being wealthy. Medicare A is paid for by the time you retire, UNLESS you did not pay any taxes, such as an unemployed spouse.

Your problem is comprehension. I give you credit for attempting to do your own research, but I have to take points away for your lack of comprehension.

By the way, you do NOT pay premiums for Medicare A.
