I may be somewhat "old school" , like medieval, on prisons, but "reform" is a joke, given the recidivism rate. I think we waste far too much money on these facilities---all you really need is 3 barb wire fences, machine gun towers and a mine field. Live in barracks, grow your own food. If it was good enough for our soldiers who were captured in WWII, it certainly is good enough for violent criminals.
