The model hames have large yards and all the upscale amenities inside. Outside this area where lots of homes are under construction, it is pretty much treeless, with lots of "kissing lanais" just like every where else in the Villages. I can see why they included a Grille in the only rec center....otherwise the nearest dining establishment would be in Brownwood or the plaza near Rohan.
Did anyone see the movie "Gangs of New York"? In the last scene, they showed the graves of the two antagonists in Brooklyn, looking across the East River to Manhattan, and did a 150 year time lapse of how the city built up. From small wooden buildings and dirt streets with horses to skyscrapers and bridges. This is TV---from a small trailer park, to what it is today, to what it will be in a few years. There will plenty of places to eat around Fenney and all the new villages, plenty of shopping, probably a town square, many pools, rec centers and adequate golf. The developers have ridden their formula to success for 40 years, and I doubt they will change it now, with a generation of boomers ready to retire. Heck, at this rate, in 50 years there will be a referendum on the ballot to change the state name from Florida to TV.
