I spent my business life with a phone stuck in my ear and being on call and I certainly do not want to live like that now. I do most of my communicating through the internet, and I use Skype to message my family. So I am not really a phone person. I was at the library yesterday and heard this very loud phone ringing - I watched someone drop her books on the floor to frantically search through her bag so as not to miss a call! It does not bother me if I miss a call, they can leave a message.

I can't speak to your phone issues BUT I so relate to your "relationship" to your phone. I too used to work with phones and no longer want to use one unless it's truly an emergency or important. NEVER just to chat! You sound JUST like me!! I don't "get" people who are "married" and "joined at the hip" to their phones!!! Whatever did they do before this technology???????
Hope you get the issues ironed out before too long!!!
