You can say the same about Hillary...Sanders...Romney...Bush...Clinton...all of them. They're there because they crave power and wealth.

They are also ruled from above..."they"...the "board" who runs America...didn't/don't trust her...that is why she lost.

It's not who votes...or whom they vote for that matters...it's who COUNTS the votes that matters.
