Default Re: Remodeling costs

I have remodeled several homes, from minor paint, carpets, and small things up to a complete gut and replace. Windows are on average around $300 to replace. More for larger ones and less for smaller ones. Tile costs you about $1.50 a sq ft to remove and $2 to $2.50 to install new. Plus cost of tile. To replace bath fixtures figure $200 for toilet, $100 for sink, $150 to $300 for faucets, tubs and showers can be lots more depending on size, what your doing, and how high end you want to go. So bathrooms go from 5K to 10K and you can spend 20K on a complete master bathroom remodel. Carpets for a good plush type with pad will run $30 a yard installed, decent granite $65 a sq ft, and always add another 10% for those things that come up. Cupboards and vanities can go cheap or a lot depending on your choices.
