Fist of all - age has nothing to do with living in the villages. No matter where you locate you will find friends. Never let your age be a factor in where to locate. I am in my early/mid sixties and have friends in their eighties. We play golf and socialize.
I do not think that there are any CBS homes in the historic section. There are manufactured homes and site built homes. In fact some of the manufactured homes are dismantaled and site built homes are erected on the site.
Question 2 is hard to explain as there are variations to the villages and the villages areas. I live in Springdale. We have 4 sub areas. Fairlawn Villas (courtyard villas), Springdale West which is a mixture of homes (ranches, designer and premier homes), Springdale East (which is actual two separate ranch areas) and Pinecrest Villas (patio villas).
You really need a map to see the villages.
If you go by the mail stops which are usually by village, I think there are about 300-400 homes per village. I will go down and count our mail stop tomorrow.
