Not at One Blood now. There are a few nice African American ladies, Blanca who is a Hispanic born in Texas up by Lubbock I believe, and Juanita who is a Caucasian from one of the Dakotas. Mary has been there. She is a Caucasian from Maryland-DC. Juanita might be a little blonde in hair color.
I gave whole blood at the Parrot Head blood drive 5/11/2017 at the Fire Station south of 466A and this was one white guy and a bunch of African American girls. The whole time I was there they had Mexican-American music playing rather loudly all in Spanish. Mary stomped her foot down a little there within the fire station as they like it when I do platelets because that helps maybe 6-8 people.
I have been going to that One Blood center since around 2007 when it was at a location near the 441/27 US Post Office in a quite small place. They then moved to the bigger place near the Villages Regional Hospital. They had one worker who just retired last year who was they when I started in 2007. She volunteers at the big blood drives once in a while now.
