No, background checks will never completely stop the unnecessary gun violence, but they surely can stop the mentally deranged from purchasing, and then using firearms. Aren't a few lives worth it? Evidently the one life in San Francisco was.....

Guns are not the problem. Illegals are the problem addressed here. If you wish to make it a gun issue, then just don't purchase a gun. That way, one less wacko will have one.
