If a vet tech can administer the shot, there shouldn't be a time problem.
What would it take to give a shot? Three minutes or 5, from start to finish???

If I wanted to make an appointment for one of my dogs for some sort of issue (no, not life threatening) -- would I also have to wait "weeks?"
This kind of wait period should be an annoyance to anyone and most certainly should send up a red flag.
Just what is the "real" problem?

In addition, as I previously said, I was told that they had the serum on hand; there was no supply problem. Also, we are "out of season" so why would there be that kind of wait?

This situation only happened a month ago. We aren't speaking about back in the dark ages.

I had another situation with Buffalo Ridge a few weeks ago which I will not go into at this time. Perhaps that will become Chapter II at another time.

They say you're never too old to learn. Well, I think this situation has taught me a lesson.

Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital is owned by a person who is not a veterinarian.
This person is not on staff and relies on hired personnel to run the place because he is not there.
I will never knowingly seek the care of a vet who does not own his practice because I do not want to have to deal with "hired help" when it comes down to the care of my pets.
