Here's a reply from the Villages News web site that I know will be deleted...the reply was to someone wanting the villages 50:50: racially...

I couldn't resist:

"There are about 1% people of “color”…the Villages is close to 99% white. THAT is what makes the villages what it is. There are plenty of 99% white places that are wonderful places to live. There is NOT ONE 99% “colored” places that are as nice. Not half as nice. Not close to being nice. Disagree? Name one. Name a sizeable 150,000 people “colored” place like the villages…I’ll wait…

People of “color” have HAD those opportunities. They get affirmative action, they get lowered standards, they get quotas that directly discriminate against white men…WHY can’t they seem to prosper? I posit because they are in fact “not us”.

Name me ONE place on this entire planet that is racially 50:50 and like the villages. Find me one that’s prosperous. America is now 50:50…50% white and 50% everyone else. How has that been going for the nation? From #1 in just about everything to the present day…#25. Quite a drop. Demographics is my guess as to why. ALL the top countries are “white” countries. ALL the bottom countries are black countries. We are not the same.

Another black president? You didn’t learn your lesson with the first? He added $10 trillion to the debt…he added more than the 40 something presidents before him combined. He BOUGHT prosperity. There is not one successful, independent black run country.

ALL DO have opportunities. They have special programs to help them. IF they “pulled their weight”, they’d be hired. Employers want the best bang for their buck…blacks sadly are not it. The NBA and NFL is full of blacks because that is what they’re good at. We don’t arbitrarily discriminate, we want value, and they don’t bring any.

You want to stop the drug problem? Put the welfare/disability recipients to work. Idle hands you know… It’s true, people with nothing productive to do will “party” for something to do. MAKE the inner city blacks work and you cut the drug problem drastically. Have them clean up and keep their neighborhoods clean. Paint over graffiti every day, sweep the streets every morning. Half work, half watch the kids, in the afternoon, they switch. You collect your “pay” at the END of the day.

We’re trying to “mainstream” people I don’t think as a whole are capable of living in a modern technological society. The 99%, those who live in the inner cities, are not like us and I don’t think they’re capable. That is why in my opinion, nothing has really changed for blacks in the last 150 years. They still require outside “direction” because I believe they as a group lack self motivation.

Go ahead moderators…delete this because it’s not politically correct. Political correctness forces us to ignore real problems, real threats.

Liz, I couldn’t disagree with you more. There are NO 50% “Villages”. EVERY “Villages” equivalent is a vast majority white, almost exclusively. Demographics makes or breaks a community."

"Don, if you are under the impression that there are no people of color or other races here that are successful and perhaps “affluent”, you could not be more wrong… yes, at this time the majority of those living here are white… but i believe and certainly hope in time as our country evolves, more non whites will TAKE advantage of a good education and use opportunities to make a good life for themselves, and NOT BE DEPENDENT ON THE GOVERNMENT AS THEIR DADDY…it’s not going to happen overnight, but i would hope by the time our grandchildren are living here, the numbers will be 50-50>>> and not BLIGHTED…the case of Dr. Ben Carson should be the rule, and not the exception…i’d like to think our MAGNIFICENT PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, if he was given a chance to truly lead our country to the greatness he speaks of, will be instrumental in this happening…he wants good schools for ALL… he wants opportunities for ALL… he wants to eradicate the dreadful drug problems that are robbing people of a decent, healthy life…
