Music banned at swimming pools?
I enjoy the brass group practicing at the South Side Pool, but I see by a letter to the editor that a complaint caused all music to be banned at a different pool.
What about a small group of musicians practicing weekly at a pool, such as South Side? I think it adds to the atmosphere on that day of the week.
It seems that one size fits all is a problem. What works in the Historic District should not be banned because it's frowned on south of that border because the newbies want higher class stuff, in their opinion.
Applying the rule to a raucous group would be tough to live with it, I know. Anyone have an answer that would work for everyone?
