Welcome to the Texas Library Association! | Texas Library Association Texas Library Association. I have been to Texas a number of times and most of these trips were related to libraries.

I hope that all the hard pro bono work I have done on this 224 613 Project is the reason this is getting many views as well as the various friendships I have made over the period from 1974 through 2017. I have been working on this since January of 1991 but got the idea for it when checking out the contents of the Washoe County downtown library in Reno, Nevada to help my fellow Earl Wooster High School students cope with the 2-24-1976 murder of our English teacher Mrs. Barbara Mitchell's daughter Michelle Mitchell on my birthday. This was near the University of Nevada, Reno campus. Some of the students were being questioned in this murder. Not me as I lived on the other side of Reno from the Mitchells and never had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Mitchell.
613 is the number I had in a 17 week study on stress on the unemployed conducted by the University of California, San Francisco Health Sciences Campus in late 1992-1993. I had researcher/interviewer Myra Young who told me this was a very worthy cause but she waited until the study was finished to tell me that. I showed her many of the documents I had received up through March of 1993 and sent them copies of some of those from after that for a short time.
