There are so many things to see and do. Depending on your interests, I would see the war memorials, the US Supreme Court Building and the Library of Congress . Georgetown is a lovely section of DC. I spent 4 years in Wash DC in undergraduate school and still feel like I have only seen a small percentage of what Wash DC has to offer. Enjoy your vacation. If you belong to AAA, you could get their Tourbook for DC, review what they recommend seeing, look at the descriptions and see what matches up with your interests.
