We had the concrete blocks with shelves, no parachute though.
Funniest thing is I bought a black leather motorcycle jacket in London. It was in a thrift shop. I paid a whopping $7.50 (US) for it. I wore it for about 5 years and then gave it to Jess so she could look "cool" on her scooter.
I do remember the German washing machine. We actually had one. It was a royal pain to use and absolutely useless for big stuff. Mom loved it.
Anyone remember the two-toned flip? Talk about a ghastly hairdo!
