I still have a washboard, but I've never used it. It's for decoration only. :-)

I used to love wringer washers. My husband had to fight me to get me to give it up.
For some reason, running the clothes through the wringer (electric) was pleasant to me.

My mother's wringer was the kind you had to crank a handle to put the clothes through. Of course my brother got his fingers caught once.
