Very true. I think there are Republicans that believe in what he spews - racism, anti immigrants, anti women, etc., and the rest of the Republicans voted for him grudgingly, simply because he was a Republican not a Democrat. And now those Republicans find themselves having to defend him and his lies. They hate doing it, so many of them don't say much, but they are embarrassed they voted for him and don't want to admit it.
