The Confederate flag was MOVED by the former governor to a museum. Museums should be established for these Confederate artifacts and that is where they belong.
Now, as you know, Nazi flags are not permitted in Germany although many Germans fought bravely. Would YOU think it is proper to have Hitler statues in Germany? After all, he was part of their history. So, you see that your history argument does not hold water.
