Republicans seen breaking away from the “establishment” Republican Party
…A vanguard of traditional American conservatives –led by seniors—has begun to break away from Republican Party organizations that espouse the time worn, disorganized, do-nothing approach to government that characterizes the Republican establishment.
Whether these dissatisfied Republicans will ultimately launch a new form of Republican Party is unclear at this time. But by listening to the comments at one of their first meetings, they are not in alignment with any tier of the Republican establishment, local, regional, state or national.
It’s also certain they want nothing to do with the Republican establishment, will not participate in it anymore, and equally important, do not intend to fund its plans and programs.
On the top of their list of priorities is to support President Trump’s agenda for making America great again. It’s “Trump first” and the “establishment last.”
Republican candidates for office who meet the criteria of these “Trump troopers” will receive their financial support, but not as funneled through the Republican Party, but through contributions made directly to each candidate or possibly through donations made to the Republican Conservative Caucus.
One of the first Republican groups to separate themselves from existing party organizations has formed in The Villages of Lady Lake, Florida. It’s known as the largest retirement community in American with a population that now exceeds 120,000 and spreads across Lake, Sumter and Marion counties.
The group is primarily being organized by Bill Garner and David Gee. Bill served as The Villages “Trump for President” campaign director. Gee, a business man who financed his campaign, ran against the Republican Parties choices for the Florida State Senate in 2016. Garner and Gee, or G&G, announced formation of the new Republican group at a Villages meeting held on August 7th. It was packed with residents interested in learning what a new “activist” political group could do to hold Republicans “feet to the fire” that Trump has set to heat up his agenda and cook up positive results for the nation.
A formal charter meeting is next. Because of the excellent initial turnout, a formal, charter-writing meeting has been scheduled for Thursday August 17th at 9am at the Panera Bread restaurant in Sumter Landing, The Villages, Florida.
At the meeting, a mission statement will be discussed, and suggestions for a name. The committees that will be formed, with Chairs include: membership, administration, technology, communications, speakers and events planning, and media publicity. Garner says that future officers of the club will come from the volunteers that show their interest and passion for the mission.
Garner and Gee said that future meetings will include guest speakers, many of which will be running for key state and national offices. They said attendance will be open to both Village residents and non-residents who appreciate the urgent need to rally ‘round the Trump agenda and generate a new, stronger, united commitment by Republicans in Congress to health care, immigration, and tax reforms…to rebuild the military…stand fast against North Korea’s threats… and launch a nationwide program of infrastructure restoration.
Garner noted that keys to the success of these objectives will be massive letter-writing and telephone outreach to elected officials driving home the point that they must remain in constant touch with the intentions and wishes of their constituents…and, most important, do the will of the American people.
Garner and Gee hope that the work of the new “Trump troopers” will inspire other like-minded Republicans to get involved in unifying Republicans everywhere behind the Trump agenda. “Our return to greatness depends on it.”

Thank you Bill

That is interesting. The problem with Donald John Trump is that so many of his statements and positions on things are the opposite of his campaign promises. Establishment politics are a serious problem and grass root movements are part of the answer but Donald John Trump is not the leader we need. I wish people would start actually paying attention to the media rather than just following this false prophet named Trump. Fact check what he says.
