Decent people will see right through it and understand that yes, in the beginning the south was mostly Democratic and were the true racists (think 'Dixiecrats')...but that long ago changed.
So your desperate attempt to deny that Republicans have been the ones fighting against equality for blacks, for many decades now...is simply your way to try and hide your own bigotry.
