He is an embarrassment to US politics and in quite likely for US history. Demagogues can do a great deal of damage to the reputation of a country-- Mussolini and Hitler come to mind. And Trump creates the same kind of mindless passion for his racist and hateful statements. Mostly based on presenting an easy target with incredibly simplistic approaches to extremely complicated problems.
