One of the best venues for live shows is the Hollywood Bowl, especially if you can get box seats.

Saw Elsa Fitzgerald there, who was outstanding, she was blind by that time and the night before she had fallen off the stage. Also Ray Charles was wonderful, too. The best was Tito Puente, we were dancing the mambo in the aisles. Absolutely spectacular.

Saw Frank Sinatra in the Uris theater in NY, also Bette Midler, many times and in the 60's, saw The Beatles at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium when they flew in a helicopter to the middle of the stadium. The screaming was deafening.

Great memories.
