Oh, HB, I'm so sorry. Even if we're not directly involved in something like this, just hearing others who were involved makes it a little more real and painful. I'm sorry that a man died and that strangers made it more difficult for him to get the help he needed.

Gawkers really frustrate me. I can think of several times when I used to commute to SF that additional accidents were caused by the lookie-loos. I understand human nature makes it hard to not look, but there's really no excuse for staring. People should slow down even if going the opposite direction -- you don't know what debris might be in the road -- but slow down doesn't mean stop or even almost stop.
