The stain is not from irrigation. Our house sat empty for a year with no gutters. The entire side of our concrete had orange , rust spots where the water would drain off from the roof. No stains by where the irrigation was. We have put up gutters and had the driveway painted and no longer have any stains. It might be cheaper to have the concrete painted vs. a french drain.

We do have one drainage spout that runs onto the concrete but now that it is painted no more stains.
