The one line smart asses, as you call them, come from both sides and I just tend to ignore them because, like you say about yourself, I'd prefer to have a discussion. I try not to support those comments by my refusal to engage, but respect that they have the freedom to say whatever they please. You are not one of those people so I continue to make an attempt to have a discussion with you. If you truly want to have a discussion, and not just with those who agree with your point of view, then it appears you are biting the hand(s) that is/are feeding you so to speak.
