At some point our server turned to the fire fighter's table and said (with a big smile in her voice) “By the way fellows, one of our customers has paid for all your meals. No checks for you today

Needless to say the four were surprised and grateful. They quizzed her a little but she held firm as whoever had picked up the tab wished to remain anonymous. As the four left you could see an extra spring in their step and they continued to chat about what had just happened.

It left us with a good feeling and even a little proud of what took place, even though our only connection was our seating location.

If the person who picked up the check happens to read this, you are very special!

Just wanted to share one little story from America’s Friendliest Hometown.

Thanks to the group who paid the check! We are blessed to have TVPSD protecting us. [emoji41]
