Theft is not "ordinary wear and tear" - duh!

My guess is they do not want to pay their employees to take the time to properly inventory your property after its rentals, charge stolen items against the tenants' deposits and deal with the flack the thieving tenants will lay on them. In actuality they are your agents, not the tenants. Since they do not actually own the property they are not paying for the losses, you are. It seems to me they do not want to do what they are both paid and obligated to do.
