Bayrock was a US company funded by the Russian mafia and run by Felix Sater, a convicted mobster. Bayrock and Trump were in the real estate business together. Bayrock’s offices were in Trump Tower, one floor below Trump himself. Sater’s business cards from the Trump Corporation called him a “senior advisor”. Threads lead from Bayrock to prostitution rings, human trafficking, money laundering, and so forth. All of this was published by the New York Times in 2007. It is impossible that Trump did not know who he was in business with. Mueller’s looking into all those connections. It will take time, but he’ll get there.
