None of the professional politicians in the government want this. The Republicans, have a much bigger problem than the Democrats, however. He is a Republican so the people in his party have to try to defeat him while appearing to be on his side.
The president's problem is that he's fighting about 80% of the 535 people in congress. About half of those pretend to be on his side.

Yes, about 80% of the people in Congress don't like him. And about 65% of the American people feel the same way. There is a reason for that! The guy has little to offer.
