If there is to be a concern about the lowest cost appliances it might be with regard to the lifespan - only time will tell. It is not as if you have a houseful of kids and are doing a lot of loads per day so it will probably be lightly used and that will probably extend the lifespan. More expensive appliances will come with more whistles and bells but you may not need them.
