Indeed there are segments on the left who desire nothing more than to stop free speech because they hold their is the only view. These same people are very offensive in nature and turning the public off and hence they will fade and they will fail

However there are a number of democrats beginning to speak up and fighting back that fringe radical left that has taken over their party.

the 2018 election cycle is going to be very interested given the problems associated with the Democratic Party. In that same vein the Republican Party is not doing what voters elected them to do..

Its still too early for any serious prediction .

Despite what the media is feeding people Trump is achieving some very positive results.
