Default Re: name sign on homes

A warning about the signs --- I also purchased one at the square -- quite nice and I was/am highly satisfied. Handpainted, waterproof, name, address, and if I remember, a palm tree. After I installed it, I removed the large stick-on address numbers that were on all the homes during and after construction. Figured the sign had the address, why have two.

Well, later I noticed that you couldn't read the address at night, even though it's on the light pole. Tried it with the outside lights on -- no luck. About the only way it can be read is by shining a flashlight on it.

Originally I thought the lighted signs were a bit of an overkill, but in retrospect I believe it would be worth the extra $$$ and they can be tastefully done.
