The designer homes come with cabinet hardware, the villa's do not. I bought my kitchen cabinet knobs at Home Depot. They have a very nice selection that cost around $8-$10 each. I purchased brushed metal knobs to complement the sink faucet and I carried the same theme through to the bathrooms which matched the lights. Cabinet knobs are not necessary but, I found they really dress them up and are worth the cost. I had a handyman install mine.
TIP - Count the number you need for the doors separate from the number you need for drawers. There are drawer knobs that compliment the door knobs with a round style. Make sure you place your fingers under them to see how it feels when opening a door. Buy an extra knob in case one does not seem quite right when you open them. You can always take it back if you don't use it.
