Religion is based on unquestioning faith. You either developed it in your childhood, or you've accepted it in adulthood. Either way, you have it or you don't. Fine. That's great. But having it doesn't give you the license to judge those who don't, or judge those whose lifestyle and beliefs are different from yours. Practice your religion and be happy.
I love the teachings of Jesus. Love your fellow man. Turn the other cheek. Heal the sick. Feed the hungry. Don't kill, lie, cheat, steal, or covet. And while doing those things love your God. Hey, it's a good plan for us all. Too bad so many who profess to follow these teachings don't actually do so in real life. When it comes to your government, society, community standards, and daily thought you refuse to do them. You choose to follow the Joel Osteens, Jerry Falwell Jrs., and Pat Robertsons rather than the teachings of Christ, or simply decide to follow your religion only when it benefits you and yours. That's not Christianity. It's hypocrisy.
