No matter how many facts you present them, they will have excuses, they will continually ignore what most people can clearly see. There is a psychological term that explains this - its called Willful Blindness. These people basically have intellectual biases that create blind spots. And people will choose to remain unseeing in situations, because it makes them feel better not to know (the truth).
A result of this bias is that their brains reject information that broadens their outlook.
