Philly cheese steaks. OK, now you know where I'm from. Lots of people call them by that name, most don't even come close. Any recommendations? They don't seem to be able to get the really good Amoroso rolls down here.
Hoagies- again, that's what we called them, not subs or grinders. Any good ones around here? I heard Wawa is coming, that will help.
Thanks everyone. Much appreciated.

Hello Maverick,
When I have visited The Villages, I have had very good wings at Mallory Hill Country Club. I don't know if you consider flatbread to be pizza, but the flatbreads at City Fire (two locations: Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood) are delicious. When I was visiting TV last week, I had their Mediterranean Chicken flatbread -- mmmm good. City Fire's menu is on
Restaurant Menus Online: Pizza, Chinese, and More - Allmenus City Fire is one of my favorite restaurants, and it's one of my "go to" places when I visit TV.
From Wawa's web site:
OPENING FALL 2017 Store #5282
11770 US 301
Oxford, FL 34484
From the map, it shows this as the intersection of US 301 and Hwy. 466. I don't know if this location is golf cart accessible or not (I don't live in The Villages yet). I'm sure a Villager can provide that info. Happy dining!
