It seems you are correct in your assumption. If you look beyond the OP's biased article, it appears that Marc Lotter is leaving his position to take on a role on the outside to enhance the Trump/Pence agenda (per Bloomberg, CNN, and others). The OP is a good example of someone who only reads/hears what they want to hear, ignoring as they call it "the rest of the story". And yet they continue to call us the uninformed ones.
