If the new Metro Diner here can match the food at the one in Gainesville, it will be the only place I go to for breakfast. Wonderful coffee, perfectly cooked thick bacon, excellent biscuits, and best of all...both my wife's homefries and my grits were perfectly seasoned and delicious.

The background music was Paul Simon, Marvin Gaye, Beatles, Harry Chapin, The Band, etc.

Now, if we can just find a way to get those University of Florida co-eds to come down here to wait tables.
