RE: "your finished look," for me the garage is for all my stuff. We have a large garage compared to many others and I have a lathe, a full size table saw a work table a drill press and a belt sander. So I make a lot of dust etc.

The epoxy coated floor makes it far easier to clean up.

Cement cures over time. You want to wait 2-3 months before you have it coated.

From your finished look thought, I expect you would object to what I did which was to have all my machines deliver to our living room-the industrial look is very popular-isn't it.

You can add grit to the finish so that it is not so slippery.
I wonder if it would make it wear out faster. Our floor is four years old. I truly use it hard and there is no sign of wear.

The minus-water is slippery. Wax or oil and it is like an ice skating rink
