I personally would not rush it unless you absolutely had to. For one, let the developer pay for the grass watering that is probably being done every day or every other day especially now in this hot weather we are havnig. (New plants have an exceptiong to the water restricitions) . It takes a few weeks for the grass to get established before you can ease off the water, and water can get expensive. But as Gracie said, let them stay on schedule rather than trying to hurry up to meet your schedule and possibly miss something. But then again you may have a very good reason for trying to push the schedule up....I would bet the developer finds most people are just the opposite!
