For too long, ignorant preachers have taught their uneducated flocks that this country was built on the Judeo-Christian model. It wasn't. The settlers who built this country were running away from Christian brutality and wars in Europe, where Christians were burning other Christians at the stake, and, yes, beheading them. The founders of this country wanted none of that, so they put a Wall of Separation between church and state into the Constitution. (If you don't believe me, look up the Supreme Court decision of Everson vs. Board.) Our Constitution does not contain the words "God" or "Christianity".
The older white conservatives who cling to the idea that life was just wonderful in the 1950s and want to return, ignore that in the lack of 24/7 media coverage, a lot of what is going on now was also going on then, you just didn't hear about it. Conservative media today wants their people to be afraid of everything-Mexicans, Muslims, liberals, Democrats, immigrants, and they will lie and exaggerate to keep that fear alive. Fox News blasts every black crime, but rarely do they grudgingly admit that a white might have committed an atrocity. Nevertheless if you really dig into facts, most crimes and most terrorist acts in this country have been committed by white males. We shoot 93 other Americans every single day.
The post which started this thread is full of such lies and propaganda, which no doubt was promoted by Limbaugh, Jones, Savage, Fox, or some other outlet which thanks to the freedom guaranteed by our Constitution, can spew nonsense. The pity is that so many willing listeners buy into that crap.

America was built upon WHITE diversity. Blacks/browns didn't start immigrating to the US until the late 1960s. And they're overwhelming us now.
Yes, they were mistakes. But what about the blacks? What have they become? Everyone else "blended in"...but not them...they're STILL at the very bottom. Why are blacks at the bottom of EVERY society? In EVERY country...
They didn't want an OFFICIAL church that they'd ALL have to bow to like in other countries. They didn't want a mandatory tithe. They didn't want the Pope telling them how to run their country. THAT is what they were "fleeing".
We DO want to return...to the times when America WAS #1 and it WAS safe to walk the streets at night. Was there crime? Of course...but there WAS 10X less of it. Yes, the minorities ARE 10 more violent than whites. White crime is usually non-confrontational and "white collar".
Liberal media does the same to you...makes YOU afraid of white men. YOUR fear is misplaced...our fear of black violence is not. Look at S and W Chicago...the violence in the blacks sections...10X or MORE violent than the white sections. GO TO MLK Blvd...see for yourself just HOW violent they are. Go to a black high school...see how stupid and violent thay REALLY are.
You SHOW me the "facts" you have that proves that white men are responsible for MOST crimes. When you do...I'll show YOU that they counted Hispanics as white. They do that a LOT to HIDE the real numbers, the truth, that blacks are VERY violent. Go to MLK Blvd, I'll show you.
