Why is it that intelligent thinking people have to revert to expletives in order to express themselves? Do they really believe that expletives have more power than civil conversation.

Its like that old saying of "you are yelling so loudly that I can't hear you."

speaking is about using words that gain the positive attention of the listener.

Expletives mean the speaker has no filter.

Expletives mean the listener views them like its static interference and annoys rather than invites listening

Using expletives tells the listener right off that I could care less.

And then the listener should submit to the speaker then why bother to speak at all?
