Tip of the hat to FTD
My daughter texted me yesterday morning that she was having some flowers delivered for her Mom. I called her last night and told her they did not arrive.
She called FTD customer service and within two minutes was told that the driver had left work by the time the local florist got the order. They gave her a free upgrade and refunded all delivery fees and service fees. They arranged for a Monday delivery. Sounds like pretty good customer service to me.
