Religion is ALL politics. That's why I first posted you should know the history of your religion. Martin Luther was protesting against the politics of the Catholic church, and if you are currently a Protest - ant, that's why. Politics. The abortion debate is all politics. The gay debate is all politics. Separation of church and state is politics.
