Not sure exactly what you mean but while there are many of those who never listen..only talk and are party first americans, most, at least from my experience are open to discussions and want what is best for this country.

The internet has caused such great divide in the country as a whole. We come on here and on this net you can find validation for any viewpoint you have. It does not have to be true, or even reasonable but if you want to validate your position you can find something on this net to help you !

I respect all opinions and will listen to them as long as they will listen to me (and not dismiss me ) If we dont discuss issues and character we are doomed to get the government we deserve.

Example...I supported the invasion of Iraq and still do. I totally was and am opposed to the management of that invasion. There are people who tell me that is contradictory or even worse but I do not see it. I can support a candidate on one issue and not on another. Those who blindly support without discussion are proclaiming sainthood I suppose on thier candidate !

John Edwards, to me anyway, no matter the issues is a loser due to the character issue.
I suppose I will be made fun of again (assocations do not count) but that is important to me. Not the only issue, mind you, but in this case a candidate for President not only cheated on his wife, but lied during the campaign.
