Since several posters have mentioned the size of the new Walmart Market. I looked it up, and here are the sizes for comparison of stores in the southern area.

Walmart (New) 41,000 sf
Publix Traverse 46,000 sf
Publix Colony 54,340 sf
Publix Deaton 54,000 sf

I liked the new store. It should save us the 9 mile trip each way to the Wedgewood Lane store. Most of the stuff looked for on Saturday they had. They didn't have any real sponges, they had about 6 different sponges with rough sides for scrubbing, but nothing for wiping a counter. The Walmart Sherbet they had Rainbow and Orange, they didn't have the biggest seller Raspberry. I also didn't see any of the really good bakery pies, I had just picked up one last week lemon Meringue from Wedgewood store and it was great and only cost $4.98. I figured they'll be getting more items as the store settles in.
