Actually in the paper he says was a Trane dealer but switched to American Standard because Trane support from the local Trane warehouse had dropped off and he could better support from the local American Standard wholesaler.

But then after some time Ingersoll Rand improved the operation of the Trane warehouse in AZ and he switched back to being a Trane dealer and is one now (or at least at the time he wrote this paper).
