I'm glad you think you know why I moved to Florida but you're totally wrong. The Villages was one of the places we were considering but proximity to diving is but one reason we chose to live elsewhere. My wife and I both scuba dive and prefer warm water diving. A dive skin or 3 mm wetsuit is a lot less cumbersome than a 7 mm suit plus hood and gloves. Plus the visibility is a lot better than Calif. and we are a lot closer to our favorite dive sites in Cozumel.

So...you didn't live in a "typical" California place because California is a majority Hispanic.

That's right...they've already bred us out of California. And apparently forced you out too. I noticed you came to "Whiteville" and didn't choose a more diverse area...why is that?
You chose here because it's the BEST place in FL you CAN live...without paying $ millions for a house in a REAL gated community. There are NO blacks here...there are NO Hispanics here...there are NO Asians here...the villages is like 99% white...and you LIKE that...don't you? I sure do...it's WHY I moved here.
Demographics makes or breaks a place. The "white" areas of California were BETTER than the Hispanic or the black areas...were they not? It's the SAME everywhere on this entire planet earth. White places are great...Asian second...Hispanic third...and a
VERY distant last...not even counted as a place to live...the blacks.
