Of course I have Christian friends so I say Merry Christmas!
I also have Bhuddist and Hindu friends I wouldn't say Merry Christmas to them. Not that it would insult them, but I am a good friend I need to understand them.
I also have a friend that is Sufi, no Merry Christmas there.
And I have Jewish friends....
Things would be easier if 2 of these religions didn't have a MAJOR holiday at roughly the same time. It's odd that this happened or maybe not because Judism predates Christanity. Nor do we really know when Christ was born.
Once you get outside into the public you just don't know! At those times I say Happy Holidays because there are 2 Holidays being Celebrated.
When did this become an issue? I think I first saw it 2008ish. All of a sudden there was a War on Christmas! Seriously, how is saying Happy Hoidays a declaration of war?
Politicians play us like fiddles, both sides, the create an issue to get us to donate or out to vote!
In my house there is a Bhuddist and a recovering Catholic we celebrate Christmas!

Most of your friends are naive?
OMG...the dilemma you're put in!!! What to do...what to do...so you don't OFFEND anyone!
Politicians...AND the religious leaders. They ALL play us...well you...and take their cut...the customary 10% tithe.
